The Viking Star Baltic Cruise for Toni and Lee, 7/11-7/25/2015

Well, alright! Bags packed, parking arranged, cat-care arranged, expectations high! The trip has been in the planning stages (and paid for) for the last 18 months. Viking River Cruises has its' first ocean going vessel, the 930 passenger cruise ship, the Viking Star. We will be on the fourth cruise of this luxury ship. Viking has two more ships in production, the Sea and Sky.

The trip is scheduled as follows:

• July 10-Leave US, travel overnight to Bergen, Norway
• Day 1-Board the Star, settle in
• Day 2-Bergen Norway
• Day 3-Flam, Norway,
• Day 4-Stavenger, Norway
• Day 5-Alborg, Denmark
• Day 6-Copenhagen, Denmark
• Day 7-Warnemunde, Germany (Berlin)
• Day 8-Gdansk, Poland
• Day 9-All day at sea
• Day 10-Tallinn, Poland
• Day 11and 12-St. Petersburg, Russia
• Day 13-Helsinki, Finland
• Day 14-Stockholm, Sweden
• Day 15-Stockholm and fly home.

We will be departing Dulles at 6:50 PM for the overnight flight on the Airbus A380, the worlds largest airliner.
