Copenhagen Day 6
Sailed into the port at 8:00, passing rows of wind turbines.
Not a smokestack belching anywhere.
Today is a driving tour of Copenhagen vs. a walking tour.
Thank God. The legs are feeling it.
Made early morning arrangements with friends to attend a
“Rat Pack Revisited” show on board for Saturday night in the ‘Star Theatre’
here on board. It is a re-creation of the antics of the famous Rat Pack of
Vegas fame including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, etc. Looking forward to the show.
The tour of Copenhagen was spectacular. Did not cover the
entire city as there are more than one million folks here but we did see lots
of the tourist highlights.
Ok, the wheels are starting to come off the bus. We have had
a series of ‘less-than-sterling’ experiences of late. The internet slow speed is the most
irritating and the IT folks aboard don’t/can’t explain well. We have been unable to properly do the blog
for two days and it is getting ugly around here.
Bottom line: Copenhagen was great and pictures will follow
whenever we get an internet connection that does not suck.
